I loved this!!! I made some warm tea and put on some warm soothing music and enjoyed exploring this cabin. The imagery was great! It took me a while to figure out the verb mechanics (not used to seeing more parser-like logic in hyperlink IF) but once I got the hang of it, it was fine. Thanks for a great relaxing experience and looking forward to more! :)
Thanks! I've sketched out story *ideas* off and on over the years, but usually they turn out to be just settings, not plots. I think this is the first piece of fiction I've actually *written* since I was a teenager, so the positive comments I've been getting are like, "Woah! Very cool. Wasn't expecting that..." :)
